The Spain U19 squad will be taking part in the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Estonia at the start of July 2012. Spain enter the tournament at defending champions, having won the European Championship last year in Romania (for the fifth time in the country’s history). This summer’s tournament acts as a qualification round for next summer’s U-20 World Cup in Turkey in which six European teams will take part.
