If you have a passion for Spanish football and discovering the next generation of stars of the Beautiful Game, then we want you to come be a part of the Football Cantera team! We want to partner and collaborate with talented contributors of all types; authors, journalists, bloggers, photographers and artists are all welcome to become regulars or guests.
We are especially interested in writers who follow specific teams or players. Whether you follow a young Spaniard in a foreign league, or are passionate about the youth revolution at Real Betis (among others), we want to encourage your niche interests and provide the platform for you to share those interests with the world. As it stands, almost every team is in need of someone to look after it with the love and care it deserves. We are particularly looking for experts on Real Madrid’s Castilla and Barcelona’s La Masia and to build from there, but if you are passionate about another team please get in touch. Also, if you follow young Spaniards abroad in England, Germany or another top league then we would love to partner with you to keep track of all the wonderful Spanish talent in the world at the moment. If English isn’t your first language, we accept articles in other languages as long as you are all right with us translating it into English.
What can we offer you?
While we do not have the budget at the moment to pay our contributors, we are committed to helping you succeed in any way we can. We will promote your work shamelessly and are dedicated to making Football Cantera the best Spanish youth site on the web. We are happy to write reference letters and sing your praises to any potential employers. We are also dedicated to making FootballCantera.com an online destination with big plans for site and feature design in order to represent your work in the best possible way.
How do you join?
If you want to join the team please send an example of your work to calebgpcousens(at)gmail.com, we will get back to you. Make sure you include your specific interest, whether it is a team or a player, your online profiles (Twitter or LinkedIn), as well as an example of your work.
